Illustrating Silent Nightmares: "Father Christmas"

Sharing another look at the interior artwork I drew for the upcoming anthology Silent Nightmares (out Sept 29 through Saga Press).

This piece is for Brian Evenson's "Father Christmas." The story is incredibly dark, following a son who returns to say goodbye to his dying, abusive father, only to be pursued by a supernatural entity claiming to be him on Christmas Eve.
