Drawing Workshop: Make Your Own Trading Cards!

Hey everyone! 

I’m hosting a new workshop at the Reston Regional Library on Saturday, May 23rd, and this one is going to be a lot of fun. We’re going to be designing and drawing our own custom trading cards from scratch.

I’ll be showing the kids how I build characters using basic shapes and how to fit a big idea into that classic trading card frame. Whether they’re into Pokémon, Magic, or just want to create their own monsters, it’s going to be a great hour of drawing.

The Essentials:

  • When: Saturday, May 23 | 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM

  • Where: Reston Regional Library (Meeting Rooms 1 & 2)

  • Who: Ages 6–12 (Parents, please stay with your artists!)
