Talking Hater with David Moody! 🎃

I recently had the chance to do a video chat with the amazing author David Moody—we talked all about his novel Hater and the brand new 20th Anniversary Limited Edition that I got to illustrate.

We get into my whole drawing process, how I use negative space and heavy shadows to frame scenes, and how fun it was to visually interpret some of the most disturbing moments in his story. I honestly think these might be the most gruesome illustrations I've ever done!

The book is dropping in early November through Infected Books. It’s strictly limited to just 500 copies and they are all signed by David. I drew 10 original interior pieces plus the endpapers for it—and there is also 40,000 words of brand new bonus content in there.
