Happy Halloween everyone! Silent Nightmares Launch Event at Birch Tree Books! 🎃

Just looking back at some photos from the Silent Nightmares launch event earlier this month!

I had such an amazing time at Birch Tree Books and Plants—it was really fun getting to do a live drawing demo and talk about the interior art for the book. If you haven't been before, it is this incredibly cozy, woman-owned botanical bookstore right in historic downtown Leesburg. You can see some of the setup, the books, and the crowd!

A huge highlight of the night was getting to talk with Michael Bailey all the way from Costa Rica! We had him on a video call—it was so amazing getting to chat with him live about the anthology and the horror genre. The book itself is a Victorian-inspired winter solstice collection filled with haunting stories meant to be read on the longest night of the year. It was such an honor to draw for a collection featuring writers like Chuck Palahniuk, Josh Malerman, and Joe R. Lansdale.

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to celebrate the release! 🎃
