Are your kids constantly filling up sketchbooks with anime characters? Do they want to take their drawing skills to the next level?

We have a massive opportunity coming up this month! Graphic artist and illustrator Orion Zangara is taking his popular Manga Art Workshop on a multi-city library tour. If you have a young creator at home, they can learn directly from a professional industry artist at one of these three upcoming local events!

📐 The Blueprint Method of Drawing

Many young artists struggle with making their characters look proportional, structural, or dynamic. Orion’s teaching style tackles this exact problem by breaking down the art process into simple, repeatable steps.

Like building a house, drawing requires a structured plan!

In these workshops, students will learn how to look at any person, animal, or object and instantly strip it down into its most basic geometric shapes. From there, Orion will guide them through building those shapes back up, creating a functional roadmap to guide them toward a polished, finished masterpiece. They will focus heavily on learning how to design and draw their very own dynamic, manga-style warriors!

🎨 About the Instructor

Orion Zangara (@orionzangaraart) is a highly accomplished illustrator and comic book artist who brings serious industry pedigree to the classroom.

He is an alumnus of the prestigious Joe Kubert School of Sequential Art. Orion brings a wealth of professional heritage, technical drawing skill, and teaching passion directly to young, inspiring creators.
